optiflow casing plungers inc.
www.optiflow.caIn 2008, Optiflow took over a casing plunger design that had been optimizing the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin since 1995. This design had some success but was in need of innovative solutions to issues plaguing this and other designs. Our simulator was built with this in mind and our "full cycle" success rate has improved dramatically to the point where any failure can be attributed to our extending of service intervals. Our simulator also makes it possible to experiment with different conditions, most recently sand, yielding very interesting results. Working with those who have used the product in the past and addressing their issues, we feel we have produced a casing plunger with numerous innovative improvements that all contribute to the reliability of our system. We recently made a few improvements to our 4.5" casing plunger. They were based on a successful trial by National Oilwell and the worn plunger that we exchanged with them. These improvements were small but significant to the reliability of the system. We have always been confident in our design thru testing in our well simulator but now we have proof that we have a reliable casing plunger design. If you would like to know more or try a system on a trial basis please let us know. Thanks. All systems are manufactured in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and assembled at our facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
