Studio Junglecat is a hub of investigative design activities that include projects in communications, exhibitions, public interactions/ interventions, social activism, and media experimentation. By collaborating with civic, cultural, and business partners, the studio addresses wide-ranging social and media interests—both public and personal. These works are experiments in human-object-environment interactions. As an experiment itself, the studio continually seeks to re-imagine what a contemporary design studio is or could be. Launched in 2009, Studio Junglecat remains the one-man operation of Matt Wizinsky. The studio was founded on the simple belief that passionately pursuing one's own interests will lead to valuable ideas that can benefit others—including that grandest of others: society.
