Ted Rogers Management Conference (TRMC)

The Faculty of Business along with the Ryerson Business Building was renamed the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM). A large portion of his donation was used to establish more than 50 new undergraduate and graduate student awards and scholarships. Not only did this display Ted’s kindness and philanthropic personality, but also portrayed Ted’s faith that the students in the faculty of business across the country are the leaders of tomorrow. Ryerson University and the faculty of business have always aligned with Ted Rogers’ core values and beliefs. He is remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit and drive. These qualities are displayed on a daily basis through the passion and initiatives that are organized by the student leaders of the Ted Rogers School of Management. In 2010, in spirit of Ted Rogers’ entrepreneurial spirit, a group of student leaders; supported by senior administration, faculty and staff, came together to establish the inaugural Ted Rogers Memorial Conference (TRMC). The student-run conference aimed to gather the brightest business student leaders from across North America to part take in a series of professional breakout sessions, networking events, and a case competition. Allowing students to connect with renowned industry professionals, collaborate with other business students and celebrate the same values and spirit as Ted Rogers. The conference has grown since its inception and is now recognized as the Ted Rogers Management Conference (TRMC).
