We believe education is the root for a transformative society, and through the mix of science and education, we are building the bright Latin American next-generation, drivers of local community transformation. Scientific programs (undergrad science program, masters and Ph.D. degrees) are excellent journeys to develop transferable skills, that are desirable and fittable to any professional career and, mainly, to an under-development society. Supporting the new adult generation through financing and mentorship is a changing game for the construction of a fair society. Tropical connects outstanding science professionals located in universities around the globe to minority Latino students and candidates in scientific programs, building an avenue for sharing their experience and promoting closer mentoring to guide students forward to mature professionals and citizens who can think critically. Always with our lanterns shining forward diversity, equity, and inclusion.
