Born in the coal mines of West Virginia 36 in 1984, Thermo-Tech's conveyor belt heaters were created to eliminate freezing & moisture problems on conveyor belts and related components. Today our product line includes our HTR™ Heated Wear Liners and Heater Panels, custom fabricated heated chutes, bins, hoppers & gates, Heated Grizzlies, Applied Traction Technology and custom heating solutions. Our patented, automated, economical systems keep mining, quarrying, bulk material handling/transfer/storage, manufacturing and power generation facilities operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the US, Canada, South America, South Korea and the Canadian Arctic, Kazakhstan and Mongolia's Gobi Desert where the average minimum temperature is -40°F. Our HTR™ Heated Wear Liners and Heater Panels are the most energy efficient method of preventing material from freezing or sticking to chutes, bins & hopper walls, as well as loader buckets, truck beds and more. They are custom fabricated to fit each exact application and are easy to install. We offer replacement Heated Grizzly bars and complete Heated Grizzly systems that prevent material from freezing and building up on the grizzly surface. The Applied Traction Technology Systems are automated abrasive delivery systems used to eliminate drive roll slippage and other issues when a conveyor belt heater isn't feasible, such as pulp, wood and biomass applications. Cost analysis show that downtime, lost production, repairs or replacement & labor expenses in one season often cost several times more than any Thermo-Tech system. When we install one of our systems, we guarantee to eliminate the problem it was specified to fix. We offer consulting services and can create custom deicing and heating solutions for almost any application where off the shelf equipment is not ideal or feasible.
