We are a student group formed to encourage and inspire ambitious students towards setting up their own ventures within and outside of China. Especially since the recent government initiatives that support and drive entrepreneurship in China was devised, CBIS’s role in the Chinese student community is now as important as ever. Our society has already organized a wide range of activities to UCL students coming from diverse academic backgrounds. The events we hosted includes business panels, competitions, workshops, and Chinese cultural presentations. CBIS also acts as a catalyst for business innovation since we have brought everyone together through heated discussions that enable the development of new venture ideas. We intend to inspire our members and equip them with the ability to transform business ideas into viable business plans.
