Sowing Seeds into the Midlands, Inc. ("Seeds"), is a 501(c)3 organization based in Columbia, South Carolina. The purpose of Seeds is to provide quality human service programs to underserved Midlands teens from the ages of 13-18 and their families. The services offered in our programs have been identified as high-need by local law enforcement agencies and school officials and will include tailored counseling, mentoring, tutoring, GED prep, and life skills development services. Abundant research about the outcomes produced from these services indicates that beneficiaries go on to exhibit higher levels of self-esteem, adopt life-affirming behaviors, and secure stable employment.
