Brick City was formed in ‘09 by longtime friends and filmmakers Mark Benjamin and Marc Levin to create the Peabody Award-winning and twice Emmy-nominated series Brick City for the Sundance Channel. Specializing in documentary films, Brick City has produced several notable cable television series and specials, including Discovery’s award-winning documentary “Chasing the Thunder”, CNN’s eight-hour docu-series, “Chicagoland,” made in conjunction with Robert Redford’s Sundance Productions, and BET’s special on the Obama re-election campaign. Drawing from its founders’ roots in non-fiction filmmaking, Brick City branched out to help brands with a purpose tell their story. Led by EP/Director Yoav Attias, our expanded team has worked with fortune 500 brands like Verizon, Chobani, and PayPal, nonprofits like University of Chicago, and political groups MeidasTouch and Future Now Fund.
