Each patient’s expectations and functional needs are considered as practitioners design and fabricate a device to meet those goals. Practitioners at Sampson’s are board-certified prosthetists and orthotists – qualified professionals who have successfully completed a rigorous examination process by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics & Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC). In addition to our practitioners being board certified, our facility also is ABC-accredited. Sampson’s is recognized for achievements in the areas of organizational management, patient care standards, quality assurance, supplier compliance, and facility and safety management. Leading the team at Sampson’s is Bill Sampson, CP. Bill has been a board-certified prosthetist since 1989 and has completed numerous continuing education courses, keeping abreast of the most recent advancements in prosthetics, computer-aided design, and manufacturing technology. Founded in 1968 by the late William Sampson, Sampson’s Prosthetic & Orthotic Laboratory serves patients in the Capital Region with offices in Schenectady, Albany, Amsterdam, Queensbury, and Saratoga.
