WHO WE ARE? Established in 2002, Kulture Break is a not-for-profit social enterprise, committed to enhancing the well-being and social inclusion of children and youth with a focus on reducing the risks associated with mental health. We do this by engaging young people in a safe, active and productive environment that allows young people to express themselves and share stories. With an emphasis is on using early intervention measures by validating and affirming young people's abilities and capacities, our goal is that they believe in themselves and live life with purpose. OUR MISSION: to connect with young people and channel to our positive message “You don’t become somebody, you are somebody.” to engage young people in creative-based outreach activities that are safe and in positive environments. to empower young people to towards experiencing life transformations. OUR PROGRAM REACH Kulture Break delivers tailored programs across the arts, health and education sectors in schools, government agencies and communities and across Australia. Since its inception, it began with 7 participants in Lanyon to now engaging up to 8,000 young people weekly in the ACT. To date, Kulture Break has engaged with over 400,000 young people across Australian and around the world.
