Reinvesting in Communities and Housing
www.richmn.orgReinvesting in Communities and Housing or hereby known as (RICH), provides financial and housing education, economic empowerment, wealth accumulation, community engagement and mentorship opportunities to marginalized communities of color. We also serve and advocate for youth, families and individuals who get denied access to housing by traditional public and private landlords and/or face barriers to access housing such as bad credit scores, past due balances to landlords and utility companies, assisting with overcoming said barriers, to better understand and develop wealth through channels of financial literacy, wealth management, regaining positive criminal/rental history and achieving homeownership. Our Wealth Building programs provide clients with FREE housing and financial counseling services. From homebuyers and renters to people who are experiencing homelessness, we provide customizable groups and 1:1 education and coaching to help. Our clients are encouraged to create a plan to help them save, control their spending, grow their money, reduce their debt and build their credit with a goal of financial security, homeownership or safe and secured housing. Asset building through homeownership is a main goal of our program along with financial stabilization and wealth creation.
