Environmentally literate students have the knowledge and understanding needed to create and support ecologically sound, economically prosperous, and equitable communities. We have a responsibility to this next generation to prepare them for inheriting the leadership and care of our world. The California Environmental Literacy Initiative (CAELI) is helping to fulfill this responsibility by using private investment to power public change.
