Krikey is an Augmented Reality gaming and social media app that is live on iOS and Android. Krikey raised their Series A from India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio. They have partnered with Snapchat, T-Mobile, Google Maps, The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Foundation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and the National Audubon Society, building custom AR games for each brand partner and reaching 4M+ users. In 2021, Krikey launched Krikees - custom 3D Avatars! In 2022, Krikey launched Avatar NFTs and they will be launching a web3 game this summer. The Krikey app is ranked in the Top 50 Social Apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store in India. Krikey was founded by sisters (Jhanvi and Ketaki) in 2017. They have previously worked at YouTube, Facebook's Oculus and Google X. Jhanvi holds a BA, MBA from Stanford and an MFA from USC, and Ketaki holds a BA, MA, and PhD from Stanford (in virtual reality and game development). Ketaki was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for gaming in 2020. Krikey was named to the Fast Company list of Best Apps and Games of 2020. In 2021, Krikey won the UserTesting Outstanding Small Business Illumi Award. Krikey is also part of Snap's Ghost Developer Fellowship Program and T-Mobile's XR Accelerator.
