Providing them with the resources, support and knowledge so they will be successful in this journey. To provide a supportive environment for widows, widowers and/or their children throughout the grieving process and beyond by providing them transitional resources including financial advisement, scholarships, and other types of monetary support to help meet their spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational needs About the Foundation Finding Inner Strength for Widows/Widowers with children. We provide the resources, support and knowledge that they will need to embark on this new and unknown journey. After the loss of my husband in 2016, I realized that there is no real resource in our area to help widows/widowers get back on their feet after this loss. Yes, there are grieving groups that are available. These groups meet in the evening which was very difficult for me with 2 young children at home. They are for all kinds of grievances not strictly for widows/widowers with children. This foundation was created to help widows/widowers work within their daily schedules and give them the resources, support and knowledge in one place.
