ALMA closed its doors October 31, 2016. The Alberta Livestock and Meat Agency (ALMA) was a provincial government agency committed to growing competitiveness, profitability and sustainability in Alberta’s agricultural industry. Through collaboration with industry and government partners, ALMA supported projects that encourage knowledge transfer, innovation and adoption of best practices. Programs previously delivered by ALMA are now being delivered by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry. All applications submitted are being received by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry for grant review and processing. All active agreements with ALMA will be honoured. ALMA wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all its collaborative partners and encourages applicants to pursue funding opportunities with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry
