We provide a convenient way to book at-home beauty and wellness services online from a computer, phone, or tablet by connecting clients to Primlancers in minutes. By bringing technology to our platform through our website & app, we are positioning ourselves as an industry leader with one kind of service to modernise the health and beauty wellness industry for both the client and beauty freelancers. Prim-U provides space for beauty freelancers to connect with more clients and companies to showcase their individualised business approaches. The idea for Prim-U came in 2018 when founder Thuli Hlonwane struggled to find the time to get “primmed” between her stressful corporate job on the weekdays and spending time with her family on the weekends. “I recognised early on that with our world of busy schedules, taking the time to go to a spa sometimes isn’t there.” We pride ourselves in accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity and are currently located in Cape Town. Prim-U was selected as a 2020 Finalist for the Women in Africa Initiative Program and chosen by the Solution Space, in partnership with MTN Group, to participate in the Venture Exploitation programs at the University of Cape Town GSB.
