Frustrating isn't it? You know what you want but you cannot find it anywhere. Either the timber is wrong, the size isn't right or the quality is poor. Well, there is no need to compromise, have your furniture built to your own requirements and specification. Maybe you just have some space in a room that is crying out for a special piece of furniture, but you are not sure what exactly. In either case we need to arrange an informal meeting, ideally in the room in which the furniture is to be placed, to discuss your ideas, likes, dis-likes and choice of timber. Do not worry if you are unsure about which timber to opt for, I will bring along some samples. After taking a few measurements I should then have all the information to start designing your furniture. The design process will take around two to three weeks, maybe longer or maybe shorter depending on how clear your requirements are. I will produce one or two designs for your approval. These will be 3D computer images which will give a pretty accurate impression of the final piece. Once you are happy with the design it is time to pay a deposit, this will cover the cost of buying your timber. The making process can take a few days or several months depending on the complexity of the piece. Progress photos of your piece will be sent regularly via email and updated on this website. When your furniture is finished the final balance is due and delivery is arranged.
