Desert Hills is a evangelical church in north Phoenix and a member of the EFCA. We are a family of believers committed to bringing the Gospel to the lost, to equipping each other to know and become like Jesus Christ, and to living in obedience to God's Word for the praise of His glory. Our core values are: Adoring Worship: We value worshiping God in spirit and truth as we become like the One we adore and worship. Biblical Obedience: We value our call to live in obedience to the Bible, and that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, the complete revelation of His will, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. Compassionate Unity: We value our Christian unity which results from our oneness with Christ, not human uniformity or worldly conformity, and that this oneness in Christ transcends theological and other differences on non-essentials of the faith, and is demonstrated by bearing with one another in love. Disciple Transformation: We value the Christ empowered transformation that begins with repentance, demonstrates a grace filled life, and ends with a fully equipped, God-dependant, prayerful disciple, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Evangelistic Focus: We value personal and corporate efforts to lovingly share the Gospel, the reason for the hope we have in our future so that all people everywhere will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We also emphasize the systematic, expositional preaching and teaching of God's Word for the edification of the church, the evangelism of the lost, and the glory of Christ.
