The company Afa was founded in 1973 as a turnery by the brothers Attilio and Gianfranco De Giorgi. After a few months Attilio began to build the first rudimentary dies for cold moulding and this is still in our current production. New products were highly professional and the company moved to larger premises in Paitone. After 11 years, in 1989, taking advantage of new development, we moved to the present location in Villanuova. Thanks to the technical, inventive and organisational skills of Attilio and Gianfranco, we gradually expanded the structure to around 4,000 square metres with underground parking. The desire to keep up with the times led us to upgrade the machinery and incorporate new manufacturing technologies. To date, we are specialised in producing parts for electric motors and components for thermohydraulics, so much so that our products are used by larger companies, both national and international, manufacturing motors for domestic appliances and automobiles and for the thermohydraulic sector.
