Since our founding in 2009, our main focus has been on strengthening and developing the local ecosystem, international relations and providing industry knowledge, research and training to all our members, associate members and other key stakeholders. Today, EstVCA represents the most influential firms and decision-makers across the industry, comprising leading Private Equity & Venture Capital, Mezzanine, Real Estate and Infrastructure funds, Family Offices, and institutional investors as well as various advisors active in the field. In 2021: * EstVCA member AUM has reached €2,88bn; * €290m was invested in 148 companies, €155m of that invested by PE/VC funds; * 19 divestments were made by our members, 14 of which were made by professional funds. * The dry powder of EstVCA members as of 31.12.21 was €624m. There is a total of 484 active portfolio companies with a number of employees reaching 20 600 people. A tightly-knit organisation, the Management Board has three priorities: • To strengthen international network, with a special focus on Nordic-Baltic coopetation. • Developing the Estonian private equity and venture capital ecosystem. • Activities supporting the widening of network and sharing of industry know-how with our members and associate members. The goal of EstVCA is to support its members and associate members in all of their activities and in developing the PE/VC market. Our aim is to be the central organization for networking and knowledge sharing between our members and associate members as well as to support them in the development of their international network. Activities related to this include trainings and insights, seminars, regular communication (tradition/social media, deal talks, a monthly newsletter) and the annual Baltic VCA Summit.
