A local party rental company experienced a huge jump in demand as lockdown restrictions eased, but couldn’t find enough staff to make the requisite number of deliveries - missing out on many one-time events. In this instance, our recommendation was to focus on scheduling to increase the number of deliveries that could be made per day. With a little tinkering to the scheduling algorithm, we could immediately boost the number of deliveries existing employees could make each day. 2. A local fence company had a growing backlog of orders during the pandemic due to more homeowners spending time in their yards. Many of their sales representatives could also help build fences, but the process of making the sale and putting together the sales packet took up most of their time. PJL built a proof-of-concept web app to modernize and streamline this process, freeing up more working hours to build fences while making the same number of sales. 3. A Washington D.C. lash studio needed a less manual way to follow-up with customers and build relationships. PJL built a custom solution that integrated with our client’s Stripe PoS account to regularly pull emails and transactions to send custom follow-up emails depending on the type of service received.
