www.i-red.ati-RED Infrared Systems GmbH realizes spectroscopic real time monitoring solutions for the control and optimization of chemical and physical production processes. The technological core of these process monitoring solutions is a new in-house developed FTNIR or FTIR technology specifically designed and optimized for industrial use. Besides this i-RED has developed the SpectroPLC technology which is enabling the implementation of almost arbitrary spectral sensors into a fully automated process spectroscopic system (e.g. UV/VIS, NIR, MIR, Raman). The activities range from the feasibility study up to the implementation of complete in - line process monitoring systems. i-RED offers its customers a wide field of competence, ranging from the mechanical and optical design of application-specific measurement optics, software development, automation, interfacing and visualization solutions. In order to get the maximum customer value from the measured data, an extensive expertise in the field of multivariate data analysis including model development to fully automatic evaluation of the measurement data in real time. To permanently secure the proper functioning of the process monitoring system i-RED provides a comprehensive maintenance concept for all hardware and software components, including the evaluation models. Main fields of application: Real - time determination of the concentration of complex mixtures (liquid, solid, gas) Inline process monitoring for chemical reactions (continuous and batch reactions). For example, continuous measurement of reactant and product concentration. Inline quality control of solids or solids streams and coatings (e.g. paper and steel finishing, foil, plastic parts, fibers, food, pharmaceutical powder, ashes).
