Slattery Perkins Ramirez P.C. (SPR) is a boutique accounting firm located in San Antonio with a diverse client base including high net worth individuals, large family partnerships, oil & gas entities, real estate interests, professional athletes, and food service companies. SPR was originally formed as Dan Slattery and Associates, P.C. by Dan Slattery following a 27 year career with KPMG where he served as tax partner and leader of the Personal Financial Planning practice in the San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi offices. Mr. Slattery retired from KPMG in December 2004 and immediately began an accounting practice. In 2006 Michael Perkins was hired and in 2011 the firm’s name changed Slattery|Perkins P.C. to recognize Michael’s contributions to the practice. Mr. Slattery continues to work with the same clients he served at KPMG, the practice has also experienced significant growth since 2004. The smaller practice environment allows S|P to focus on serving individuals and their closely held businesses. Practice areas include income, and estate and gift tax planning as well as related tax return preparation and other compliance needs. Related services are offered as they support the needs of clients. Examples of these related services include compilation and review of financial statements and record-keeping. S|P also offers fee only financial planning services. In 2011 Jennifer Ramirez was hired and in 2017 the firm's name changed once again to recognize her work in the success of the firm.
