Canada Kuwait Petrochemical Corporation (CKPC), founded in 2017, is a joint venture between Pembina Pipeline Corporation and Kuwait’s Petrochemical Industries Company, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. CKPC is in the front-end engineering design stage of an integrated propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene production complex in Sturgeon County, Alberta. The complex will consume on average 23,000 barrels per day of propane feedstock and produce 550,000 tonnes per year of polypropylene.
