The German Marine Litter Association e.V. is an initiative of well-known actors from the business, science, associations and private individuals with the aim of jointly developing and implementing strategies to avoid marine waste. The association wants to coordinate and implement the German interests for the avoidance and elimination of marine waste centrally, as well as to be German contact for all national and international partners who are active in the marine waste sector. The association wants to raise awareness about the environmental hazards of marine waste.
