LEARNBLUE is a Gen Z led nonprofit inspiring INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS against Global Issues that threaten our future. We inspire Gen Z to find solutions, take action and raise awareness on issues we consider a threat to our future, and are passionate about and guided by the Global Goals 10 (Reduced Inequalities), 13 (Climate Action), & 14 (Life Below Water). We (Gen Z) AKA ‘Digital Natives‘, AKA ‘The Plurals‘ are individuals born after the year 1996. We make up 32% of the world’s population, that is there’s 224 Million of us, amongst the 7 Billion people on Earth. Yeah, we could basically be our country almost the population of the USA. We are [proudly] the biggest volunteer generation, we are innovative, defiant to ‘norms’, we are hasty (8 seconds attention span) and big flex, we lead some of the biggest social movements in modern history and understand social media more than any other generation. We are a group of passionate Gen Z volunteers from all over the world, spread across 12 countries, and 6 continents dedicated to helping other young people learn and develop sustainable solutions to global issues. We work with individuals in different countries through chapters to make sure that young people learn the fundamentals of Global Goals and apply their knowledge to solve issues in their immediate communities and practice sustainable changemaking habits.
