Founded in the fall of 2019, NYU Stern Economic Development Group (EDG) aims to connect students with the necessary resources for applying their business skills to development opportunities in emerging markets. We are a group of undergraduates who believe that business can be used as a powerful vehicle to improve community standards of living and alleviate poverty. We provide students with a community that is dedicated to learning more about the field of economic development through professional and social events, mentorship programs, research opportunities, and career resources.
