PM&A was founded in 1993 to supply Attorney firms with Legal application software coupled with IT support & maintenance services. It was not long before we were approached to provide Internet and networking services as a platform for the Juta Law electronic research products for the Cape Bar Council. PM&A has over two decades of experience in meeting the IT needs of Cape Town firms. We are proud that many of our earliest clients (including the Cape Bar Council) are still with us – we value long-standing relationships and trust. Since then we have taken over the IT Support function for accounting, engineering, manufacturing and other small to medium businesses, mainly through word of mouth. Our Microsoft networking engineers offer expert networking services coupled with IT support and maintenance. Cyber security is an area of special interest and focus; our Sophos accredited engineers are qualified to install and maintain Sophos next generation firewalls along with the software that protects servers and endpoints. Not one of our clients with Sophos has been ‘hit’ by ransomware or any of the many advanced persistent threats out there and we are confident that this will not change. We provide a range of Cloud based services; Office 365 rollouts are easy with PM&A. VOIP telephony using 3CX has taken off in the Advocates Chambers, amongst our Attorney clients and some of our commercial clients have felt the benefits. Reduced costs and a far superior service make it an easy decision to move away from the conventional PBX with landlines administered by Telkom.
