R.G. & Sons Plumbing, Inc., a commercial plumbing sub-contractor, is owned by Rodolfo J. (Rudy) & Mary Lou Garcia and is proudly a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). Before establishing R.G. & Sons, Rudy started his career through two separate apprenticeship programs, Metal Trades and Building Trades, and eventually became a Journeyman Plumber. After working as a union plumber for a few years, and some slowdown of available work, he decided to start his own company. R.G. & Sons Plumbing was established in March of 1989 with Rudy as the sole employee. President, Rudy J. Garcia, achieved his goals of ownership through many years of hard work, dedication, and the drive to provide for his young family. He achieved success in the plumbing community and general contractors took notice. Today, R.G. & Sons Plumbing is the thirteenth largest minority-owned business in Tucson.
