Calmast is Waterford Institute of Technology’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Engagement Centre. Established in 2003 to promote STEM, Calmast now engages with an annual audience of about 30,000 in counties Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Tipperary. Calmast has recently received funding from SFI to establish a STEM hub and clusters model for STEM engagement in the South-East.
