Young Horizons provides early childhood education and daycare to over 400 low-income children in a caring, loving, and learning environment at five locations throughout Long Beach, California. Young Horizons’ primary purpose and activity is ensuring that low-income children develop the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to keep up and compete with their peers in kindergarten and beyond. Founded in 1969 by Dr. Gerhard Kohn, we are honored to continue his legacy today.
