The stiftung neue verantwortung (snv) is a non-profit think tank in Berlin. We bring together expertise from government, research institutions, NGOs and companies in order to develop, discuss and disseminate proposals on current political issues. In our main programs: digitalization, energy and resources and future of governance, the snv provides analyses, publishes recommendations for action and forms coalitions across sectors. Our goal is to assist stakeholders, both in and outside of politics, in making effective decisions that benefit the common good. In order to do this, the snv uses a combination of content-based expertise, practical political experience and cross-sectoral cooperation. The independent operation is made possible by a financial mix of charitable foundations, public institutions and companies. The diversified structure of our funding is part of the intersectoral claim of the snv.
