Baymatob Operations Pty Ltd is an Australian company specialising in the development of medical devices. At Baymatob(TM) it is important to us that the technology we develop is not only improving outcomes but is also working towards improving the experience of all users. With this in mind medical devices developed by Baymatob(TM) take care to consider and work with the needs of patents, carers, clinicians, hospitals and others who will need to interact with the technology. The Baymatob(TM) mission is to develop minimally invasive medical technologies that work for all users to improve both outcomes and experience. Our vision is for a world where medical technology is used to detect problems, monitor interventions and improve outcomes without negatively impacting on the individual's experience. Baymatob(TM) was founded after the traumatic birth experience the company's CEO, Sarah McDonald, had with her second child. It was this experience that made clear the need to do better in obstetrics monitoring. The need to develop technologies that provide clinicians clear information allowing for proactive approaches to improve outcomes and reduce interventions. The need to develop technologies that can do this without impacting on a mothers desired birthing experience, the monitoring technology itself should have no impact on how a mother moves and what activities she does. The same can be said for all medical technologies used to monitor patients. There is a need for all medical technologies to provide clinicians clear information allowing for proactive approaches to improve outcomes and reduce interventions. There is a need for all medical technologies to do this without impacting on the users desired experience, the monitoring technology itself should have no impact on how a user moves and what activities they choose to do.
