Spent 15 years onboard and at last 10 years of this period he served as Captain. On 1991 he established Gemeks International Marine Survey & Inspection Ltd. Same year he applied and recieved Insurance Expert licences of all sections by TC Prime Ministery Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade. He served as a court expert on maritime business, marine survey and steel scrap both internationaly .And localy Served as a court expert for the Court of Arbitration in England and Switzerland. On 1991 joined draft and quality surveys for the Turkish recievers as the first ever Turkish protecting surveyor in Turkish steel industry. On 02.02.2002 he established Global Marine Consultant with his sons. Business partners and surveyors of Global Marine Consultant Kerem & Eren ibre still working to take our professional quality to further levels. During this period Global Marine Consultant trained dozens of surveyors and some of them still in the international market as surveyors. Global Marine Consultant serving internationally for both leading steel scrap shippers and recievers with including our abroad based staff in Us and Europe. Global Marine Consultant have 8 experienced surveyors and also we keep a local staff in discharge ports of Turkey. We ve been doing our best to keep our high level of professional quality and keep on serving to the leading steel and steel scrap companies.
