IDEABATIC is an award-winning social enterprise solving critical last-mile cold chain issues globally. IDEABATIC has developed a last-mile cooling system called SMILE (SMart last-mILE cooling system) that eliminates error and reduces spoilage in temperature-sensitive substances such as vaccines and bio-products. SMILE is freeze-free and fail-safe. It keeps vaccines and bio-products at between 2 and 8 degrees for 3 to 6 days during use without electricity. SMILE has been iterated, tested and field-proven. With the situation of the current pandemic, the logistics for vaccine delivery and testing could be overwhelming.
