There are half a million families in Colombia who do not have access to energy and more than 220 thousand who have access to a deficient, limited and polluting solution. Not having energy implies not having light to study at night, not having access to communication sources, cell phone charging and the well-being that comes with a fan, a blender, a refrigerator or even a washing machine or a hydraulic pump. It implies less chance of starting a small business. That is why we created Soluna Energía, to bring energy to peasant and indigenous families in rural areas in an affordable and flexible way.
