BFF serves clients with a clinical holistic approach in an effort to support each of them to experience long-term change, and ultimately individual self-sufficiency. Core programs include: 24/7 crisis hotline (English & Spanish), a housing continuum including Freedom Ranch Safehouse/emergency shelter, Rapid Re-Housing and Ensuring Freedom programs, psychological services, legal representation, financial literacy, youth advocacy and mentorship, and outreach education. Bright Future’s youth violence prevention programs serve youth in school-based and mentorship programs, like Buddy Mentors and EmpowerMENt. Buddy Mentors matches adult role models with children who can benefit from positive support and guidance. EmpowerMENt provides middle and high school students with information on how relational aggression affects lives, and increasing factors to protect against violence and to develop healthy relationships.
