The Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is the sole governing body for the sport of Rugby-Football in India. The IRFU, incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, is recognised by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Govt. of India and is a full member of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Asian Rugby Football Union (ARFU) and the International Rugby Board (IRB). The IRFU is responsible for the growth and development of Rugby across the nation. The IRFU is governed by a close knit group of people who are passionate about the game.
