We are a design collective based in Kolkata, India but available anywhere in the world. We design through discourse, using the narratives that are present in culture at the heart of the creatives that we make. We are equipped to handle projects and collaborations that cross multiple mediums and believe in pinning our projects within a framework of meaning and symbols. We like are projects to be interesting and challenging. We don’t solicit work. Grinning Tree is a refuge for freelancers and free thinkers and some of our most effective work has been with startups. We are quite proud of our evolution and for the fact that we have been able to hold our own in the increasingly mundane bombardment of visuals that pass by without leaving any impact.
