SAIF was established in 1989 to support independent, mostly family owned funeral directors, concerned about the proliferation of larger conglomerates. We currently have almost 1000 members across 1,800 sites, as well as an additional 100 Associate members who supply products or services to the funeral profession. Independent funeral directors are known for their high standard of service and a caring, traditional approach to their local communities, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
