Brisbane-based Australian artist Nordacious (James Hillier) has been professionally pursuing his career as an independent artist since 2015. Specialising in portraiture, he combines fine-liner ink pointillism and digital brush to create highly detailed, striking works inspired by pop culture, Australiana, social/political commentary, and all things queer + camp! To date, he has had three solo exhibitions in Brisbane (2016), Sydney (2017) and Melbourne (2018), and headlined 2016’s Pokolbin Pride Art Show. His solo shows, titled "VIDEO DRAMA" showcased a body of work inspired by the Australian film, Muriel’s Wedding.
