Somali Association of South Africa (SASA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1996 by some Somali intellectuals who identified the lack of Somali representation in South Africa. The most notable support missing was for refugees and asylum seekers. In order to help refugees and asylum seekers to adjust to living in a new country several offices situated in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and more cities offer a variety of services.
