Established in 1970, the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP) is one of the largest state affiliates of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. PSHP consists of more than 500 members employed throughout the Commonwealth in a variety of practice settings, including hospitals, home care agencies, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care facilities, health maintenance organizations, clinics, psychiatric facilities, sub-acute and chronic care facilities, correctional facilities and colleges of pharmacy. Members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students of pharmacy, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.
