The Caldwell family has roots in Grand County dating back to 2003, we love our community and are excited to be offering delicious beer and helping to conserve our natural resources in the process. Here at Big Trout Brewing Company, we are dedicated to saving our rivers so we can share the joys of fishing with generations to come. We have a state-of-the-art, High Efficiency Brewing System (HEBS) that allows us to reduce our water waste by 20-30%. It also increases our mash extraction to nearly 98%, as compared to 75-80% with a standard brew system. This means we get the most out of our grain, and use 10% less per batch. Our HEBS are American made and our tanks are Colorado made. We are proud to support our country, state and local community whenever possible.
