The Rendanheyi Silicon Valley Center was founded in 2020 and is a collaboration between Menlo College and Haier Model Research Insititute (HMI). Haier are best known in the United States for their acquisition and revitalization of GE Appliances and for the development of the Rendanheyi business model, which has transformed Haier from a traditional industrial firm into one positioned forefront of the IoT space.
