Genesee Valley Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab (GVPT) is a privately owned outpatient orthopedic practice, dedicated to serving the Rochester area since 1987. Native to Rochester, the company was founded by William Jackson, PT and Daniel Geen, PT, and then in 2010, welcomed Ryan Healey, DPT as a third co-owner. Since the opening of our first location in Gates in 1987, Genesee Valley Physical Therapy has gradually expanded its services and locations to better serve the Rochester and surrounding areas throughout the years. We currently have 8 locations, and offer aquatic therapy at two YMCA locations, and at the Perinton Community Center. In 2008, GVPT expanded its services to include aquatic physical therapy providing a treatment approach that utilizes the buoyancy of the water to minimize stress on joints. Genesee Valley Physical Therapy has enjoyed 30+ years serving the Rochester community, and plans to continue to expand offerings to meet the needs of our patients during these challenging times of healthcare reform.
