Institute™ is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit created to help educate, mentor, and inspire young girls ages 13-18 to develop personal and professional skills for their careers and businesses. We use project-based and socio-emotional learning tools to engage girls to use their curiosity and empathy to ideate, innovate as teams to develop solutions for the world's problems. As part of our GSI programming, our goals are to create separate pathways for girls to pursue which provide opportunities to develop personal and professional. skills as either an entrepreneur or an intrapreneur. These pathways will create project-based learning experiences with hands-on mentoring for developing self-confidence in preparing for their futures using immersive technologies and team-building exercises which advance their skills to meet the future changes in work and innovation. GSI Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship Adv Girls STEAM Institute™ allied with the UN to support three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Climate Change, Mental Health, and, Civic Duty for the next 10 years, Our programming will be using these topics as themes for our events, webinars, and our Micro Online Learning Centers. By building partnerships with global corporations, women's business enterprises, NGOs embracing S.T.E.A.M., we plan to expand opportunities for STEAM entrepreneurship for young girls globally. The three main programs we offer are: > Online Learning Center- Free access to young girls 24/7 to critical training for advancement in STEAM > Podcast Series Important mentoring from peers and subject matter experts in STEAM > Team Challenges Girls compete as teams to develop viable STEAM business ideas for cash prizes Our Vision: Enlighten and inspire girls globally to pursue S.T.E.A.M. entrepreneurship and leadership Our Mission: Build a sustainable global pipeline for inspiring and empowering girls to pursue innovation as S.T.E.A.M. entrepreneurs.
