The purpose of the West Side Inter-Agency Council for the Aging, Inc. (WSIACA), incorporated in 1968, is to encourage the expansion of existing services to the older adults and to stimulate the establishment of new programs that will improve the quality of life for older people on Manhattan's Upper West Side. WSIACA provides an opportunity for agencies and individuals on Manhattan's Upper West Side that are concerned with the issues of the aging, to share experiences and information and to work together to resolve problems.
