The Support after Suicide Partership is the co-ordinating hub for a UK-wide network of over 70 organisations, who support people who have been bereaved or affected by suicide. We do this through research, advocacy, signposting, innovative practice and working together. We work to the Vision that "everyone bereaved or affected by suicide should be offered timely and appropriate support” Implementing the Long Term Plan We work with multiple partners, including NHS England, to implement the Long Term Plan to provide suicide bereavement support in every area of the country. We have developed and run the Central Hub for information, resources, and support (hub.supportaftersuicide.org.uk) for those developing and running suicide bereavement support services across the UK. Increasing the Support Capacity We develop and publish resources to support people impacted by suicide (Help is at Hand, Finding the Words), and those developing and running services (PHE Guidelines, Guidelines for Bereavement Support Groups). Our website provides information and signposting for people who may have been impacted by suicide. Research In collaboration with the University of Manchester, we are running the biggest study of it's kind in the world to look at the Impact of Suicide In the UK.
