UMD Men's Lacrosse was founded in 1991 on campus by students with a desire to play lacrosse. Since then we have earned 18 trips to the national tournament, and have won 18 conference titles. Along with consistently being one of the most talented teams in the upper midwest, we have also produced thousands of competitive, driven, young adults that have gone onto careers all over the country in a wide range of industries. We have a clear goal to build the lacrosse community in the Duluth area and in Minnesota as a whole. We do so by hosting camps and clinics for youth players, as well as participating in local community events. UMD Men's Lacrosse competes in the MCLA, the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association. This is the most recognized and competitive collegiate club lacrosse league in the nation.
